Neymar compares himself and Lionel Messi to Dragon Ball Z Super Saiya-jin after Barcelona’s demolition of Celtic

Peroxide blond Barca pair turned Goku and Vegeta in 7-0 Champions League drubbing at the Nou Camp

NEYMAR has compared himself and Lionel Messi to Super Saiya-jin after Barcelona’s 7-0 demolition of Celtic.

The Brazilian striker, 24, tweeted a picture of the newly-blond pair holding the match ball after the win – showing a striking resemblance to the Dragon Ball Z warriors.

The cult Japanese anime series features brave Saiyan fighters defending Earth against an assortment of intergalactic villains.

Heroes, such as Goku and Vegeta, become Super Saiya-jin when they achieve a new power level – causing their hair to turn gold and spikey.

And the Barca superstars each returned to club duty this season sporting similarly shocking hairdos.

Messi, 29, switched to the bleached look after missing a penalty in Argentina’s Copa America final defeat to Chile.

Team-mate Neymar then followed suit to celebrate his Rio 2016 gold medal glory last month.

And it appears to have had the same effect on the South American bombshells, who looked better than ever in Tuesday’s Nou Camp clash.

Messi netted his sixth Champions League hat-trick against Brendan Rodger’s side while Neymar scored one and laid on four more for team-mates.

Hair dying has been all the rage for footballers this summer with stars including James Rodriguez, Aaron Ramsey and Phil Jones all reaching for the peroxide bottle.

Unfortunately there has been no apparent spike in the powers of the Manchester United outcast.
