FORMER Norwich boss Daniel Farke has stepped down as manager of Russian side Krasnodar without managing a single game.
The 45-year-old, who was sacked at Carrow Road in November, made the move to Russia in January on a deal until 2024.
But following the country's invasion of Ukraine, the German gaffer - and his entire coaching staff - have left their role at Krasnodar Stadium.
Farke was due to be in the dugout for his first match next Monday after the winter break at home against Ural.
But he has left his post, with an reading: "On March 2, FC Krasnodar top management and Daniel Farke reached an agreement on contract termination by mutual consent of the parties.
"Farke’s assistant coaches, Edmund Riemer, Chris Domogalla, and Christopher John, are leaving the Club with the German specialist.
"Football Club Krasnodar thank the coaching staff for the work done and wish them luck in their further career."
Speaking to German news outlet after departing Krasnodar, Farke declared his family pleaded with him to step down.

He remarked: "The current political development and the associated request from our children, wives, families and friends to come home and the loss of all sporting perspectives have now led to this well-considered decision.
"It is very difficult for us, because we were received very warmly from day one.
"We formed a great community with different nationalities in a very short time, who wanted to pursue sporting goals together. With joy and fun.
"Unfortunately, the serious side of life has now caught up with us."
His decision to part ways at Krasnodar comes just a day after his compatriot Markus Gisdol stepped down at Lokomotiv Moscow.
The two teams were scheduled to face each other last weekend in the Russian Premier League only for the fixture to be postponed due to the suspension of Krasnodar airport.
Gisdol stated that he decided to call it quits after 12 games in charge as the actions of Russian president Vladimir Putin are 'not in line with his values'.
He said: "I cannot pursue my calling in a country whose leader is responsible for a war of aggression in the middle of Europe.
"That is not in line with my values, which is why I have resigned from my position as coach of Lokomotiv Moscow with immediate effect.
"I can't stand on the training ground in Moscow, train the players, demand professionalism and a few kilometers away orders are given that bring great suffering to an entire people."
