Carlos Tevez and Gonzalo Higuain’s international careers are not over, claims Argentina boss
Argentina coach Edgardo Bauza offers renewed hope for striking pair after recent snubs
CARLOS TEVEZ and Gonzalo Higuain’s international careers are not over, according to Argentina boss Edgardo Bauza.
Former West Ham, Manchester United and Manchester City striker Tevez has not featured for his country since October last year.
Higuain, who recently joined Juventus from Napoli for £75million, was left out of this month’s World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Venezuela.
Despite the absence of the pair, Bauza insists that both men could still play a role on the road to Russia.
Bauza said: "I spoke with him [Higuain]. He knows that he could be selected at any time. He's a national team player.
