The 34-year-old has two children Megan, 11 and Taylor, 6 from a previous relationship while Vardy has a six-year-old daughter Ella also with an ex.

England's hitman and Rebekah have a two-year-old daughter of their own, Sofia so the next one will be their collective fifth.

And Rebekah, who met Vardy when he was playing for lowly Fleetwood but married this summer, will put a stop to any more offspring by sending the striker to the clinic.

She told OK! magazine: "My body can’t cope any more – four is enough. I’m sending him off for the snip! I'm hoping for a boy."

Jamie added: "I don’t think I’d cope with any more after this one. Bex definitely wouldn’t as it can be a lot to handle – especially if I’m away.”

Vardy described his delight at finding out they were expecting another child which will make up a mini football team.

He added: "She was so nervous about telling me as it was a bit sooner than we planned, but we are both very happy. We now have a five-a-side team!"

The pair wed in a star-studded ceremony in May, but Rebekah revealed that no England teammates were present because of then-boss Roy Hodgson's strict rules ahead of their disastrous Euro 2016 campaign.

She said: "The manager decided that he didn't want them to be there. Their focus needed to be on the game, was was completely understandable."

Vardy, who scored in Leicester's 4-1 defeat to Liverpool at the weekend, has enjoyed an meteoric rise to stardom just four years after playing for non-league Fleetwood. He helped the Foxes clinch their first Premier League title in May and went on to score for England at Euro 2016.

But the couple have had their fair share of problems surround their new-found fame.

Vardy revealed he gets death threats every week – and Rebekah is still targeted by “hurtful, offensive” Twitter abuse prompting them to have round-the-clock security at their Leicestershire home.
