CRISTIANO RONALDO'S relationship with Ralf Rangnick is 'totally fractured', according to sensational reports in Spain.
The German, 63, was appointed as interim boss in November to clean up the mess the Red Devils found themselves in when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was sacked.
Rangnick has so far been unable to consistently inspire victories and cracks appear to be showing.
According to , Ronaldo believes that Rangnick is 'out of his depth' managing Man United.
They add that the interim gaffer lacks the support of the squad's 'leading heavyweights' - with Ronaldo at the forefront.
The 37-year-old is frustrated with the direction that the Red Devils are moving in.
And he is said to have been further annoyed by Rangnick's accusation last week that United's strikers aren't being clinical enough.
The former RB Leipzig chief said: "That we should score more goals, it’s obvious.

"We created enough chances in the last couple of games but we just didn’t score enough goals.
"This is not only an issue with Cristiano – it’s an issue with other players, especially with the offensive players: we don’t score enough goals.
“If you bear in mind how many chances we create, it needs to get better in the coming weeks."
Ronaldo was visibly furious when he was substituted against Brentford last month, despite his side being 2-0 up at the time.
He was then left on the bench for the 1-1 draw with Burnley last week - failing to make an impact after coming on in the 66th minute.
CR7 is now without a goal in his last six appearances in all competitions, making it his worst goal drought since 2009.
In addition to having reservations over Rangnick, United players have also reportedly mocked his assistant Chris Armas.
Players are claimed to refer to the American as 'Ted Lasso', in reference to the clueless soccer coach in the hit TV series by the same name.
