Manchester derby: Claudio Bravo set for Manchester City debut in hellish derby where giant Zlatan Ibrahimovic will wreak havoc
Jose Mourinho believes the new 6ft Etihad keeper will be uncomfortable with high balls with 6ft 5in Swede around
JOSE MOURINHO will give Claudio Bravo the derby debut from hell.
The new Manchester City keeper, 33, takes his Premier League bow at Old Trafford tomorrow.
At just 6ft, United boss Mourinho believes the Chilean may be uncomfortable with high balls into the box and the league’s physicality.
He will use the aerial power of 6ft 5in Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Marouane Fellaini at 6ft 4½in and Paul Pogba to scare him.
City’s centre-back pairing for their last game against West Ham will also have a height disadvantage against United’s giants.
John Stones is 6ft 2in and Nicolas Otamendi just 6ft, so boss Pep Guardiola may swap the latter for Aleksander Kolarov at 6ft 2in.
