Wilshere, 24, will use his season at Dean Court to try and prove his fitness after being dumped by Arsenal and England.

First up are Tony Pulis' West Brom - who landed Wales's Euro 2016 hero Hal Robson-Kanu on a free on the last day of the window.

The Cherries have just one point from their three matches this season and will hope to Bounce the Baggies back to the Midlands in their 3pm kick-off.

Boss Howe has described Wilshere's arrival as a turning point - knowing the injury-prone playmaker's form could be decisive for both their careers.

He said: "I think it is a brave decision for his career but hopefully a good one.

"Hopefully when he looks back in a year's time, he will see it as a turning point in his career for the better.

"If you had said to me [a few years ago] that we would have the opportunity to sign someone like Jack I would have said it is not possible.

"It is a moment we look on and think 'wow, that is a big moment for the football club'.

"It is a different path for us, there are risks attached to that but there are also huge benefits if it goes well."

Bournemouth likely (4-2-3-1): Boruc; A.Smith, Francis, S.Cook, Daniels; Surman, Arter; Ibe, Wilshere, C.Wilson; Afobe.

West Brom likely (4-2-3-1): Foster; Dawson, McAuley, Evans, Galloway; Fletcher, Yacob; Phillips, Berahino, Chadli; Rondon.
