CRYSTAL PALACE endure big Premier League blow as new striker Loic Remy is ruled out for two months.
Remy, 29, picked up a thigh injury in a recent training session and is out until November.
The French striker joined Alan Pardew’s side in a £3million season-long loan after Chelsea made it clear he can play for another club this season.
And with the summer arrival of Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi, Remy fell further in the choice order at Stamford Bridge.
Remy only started in three Premier League games during the 2015-16 season after being hit by a series of injury problems.
Palace are left with new £30-singing Christian Benteke as Pardew’s only striking option for Saturday’s away fixture at Middlesbrough.
So far Palace have earned just one point this season from their opening three Premier League games.
