‘One of my favourite places’ – Declan Rice fuels Man Utd transfer talk after West Ham’s late defeat at Old Trafford
DECLAN RICE has sent Manchester United fans into a frenzy after describing Old Trafford as 'one of my favourite places to play.'
The West Ham captain was yet again a standout performer in Saturday's top four clash against the Red Devils.
But the Hammers conceded right at the death with Marcus Rashford netting at the far post.
And after the game, Rice added fuel to the fire as he talked up the Theatre of Dreams.
He told Sky Sports: "I was loving it. Every time I come to Old Trafford, I've always said it's one of my favourite places to play.
"It's an amazing stadium."
Rice's comments have caused quite the stir on social media.
One United fan said: "The way he tries to hide his smirk after saying, '…places to play', lad knew exactly what he was doing there - we need him in a UTD shirt next season!"

Another added: "It’s funny because he didn’t have to say that."
Rice himself tweeted: "Our fans were incredible today. Thank you for your support yet again!
"Gutted to lose the game like we did. We will keep pushing."
