And the performance was a far cry from the loss against Spain last week that saw Roberto Martinez and his team booed off after the final whistle.

Thomas Mills struck a ferocious shot that was deflected onto the bar by Constantinos Panagi and Lukaku was on hand the nod in the rebound to give the Red Devils a 13 minute lead.

The rest of the first-half was a tight after with neither team really having a clear chance at goal.

Belgium looked dangerous on the break after half-time with Lukaku's low cross just cleared by the Cypriot defence.

The Everton striker - who revealed assistant coach Thierry Henry was using Playstation to help get Belgium back to winning ways - then got his second of the match.

Lukaku rose highest in the box to head in for the second time in the match from yet another rebound.

Eden Hazard then saw one of his shots parried by Panagi but was on hand to slot the ball to Carrasco who passed into the net.

Panagi was unlucky after making some brilliant saves during the game and even saved a Michy Batshuayi penalty in the dying moments.
