Harry Kane set for bumper pay-rise at Tottenham… despite only penning a new deal in February
Mauricio Pochettino will double England striker's wages to £100k-a-week and make him Spurs' highest-paid player
HARRY KANE has begun talks with Tottenham over a bumper new contract at White Hart Lane.
The North London side are keen to secure their crown jewel and the striker will receive a huge pay increase as reward for committing his future to them.
It was only in February that Kane signed a five-and-a-half year contract with Spurs, but boss Mauricio Pochettino will now make him the highest-paid player at the club.
His current £50,000 a week basic wage is set to be doubled as Tottenham look to reward the striker for his performances.
Kane, who won the Premier League’s golden boot last season, will see his wage rocket to around £120,000 per week, in addition to goal and performance bonuses plus image rights.
