Mino Raiola earned more money this summer from Paul Pogba, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan sales than Real Madrid pay Cristiano Ronaldo in a year
Superagent pocketed almost £30million from the trio of Manchester United deals
MANCHESTER UNITED paid Mino Raiola more money this summer than Cristiano Ronaldo earns in a year.
The super-agent trousered an incredible £20million after negotiating Paul Pogba’s world record £89m move from Juventus to Old Trafford.
And with fellow clients Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Henrikh Mkhitaryan also arriving at Carrington during the transfer window, Raiola is believed to have earned almost £30MILLION from the Premier League side.
That sum dwarfs the £21m Real Madrid pay three-time Ballon d’Or winner Ronaldo – the game’s highest-paid player - each season.
Spanish daily claims that Raiola, 48, made £6.7m from Mkhitaryan’s £30m move from Borussia Dortmund.
He then pocketed another £2.5m when Ibrahimovic finally completed his free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain – taking a final figure to a whopping £29.2m.
Former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson once claimed that he would never do business with Raiola – which ultimately led to Pogba leaving the club in 2012.
But new manager Jose Mourinho evidently has no such qualms after helping the scruffy Dutch-Italian negotiator take his career earnings over a staggering £270m in the last transfer window.
And that figure could have been even higher had Everton accepted Chelsea’s £60m-plus bid for Romelu Lukaku earlier in the summer.
It is unknown how much he was paid for Mario Balotelli's deadline day move to Nice.
Raiola reportedly blew £7m of his fortune on notorious mobster Al Capone’s Miami mansion last month, although the firm that manages it denied he was the buyer.
"We will talk with them [PSG]. We tried to reopen a deal but there was nothing we could do.
"A transfer in January? Journalists should go on holiday after a long transfer window."
