Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang smiles with sweet family Christmas photo after being axed by Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta
PIERRE-EMERICK AUBAMEYANG pushed aside his Arsenal woes to pose and share a sweet family Christmas photo.
The striker is currently in Gunners exile after being banished from the first-team fold by boss Mikel Arteta.
Aubameyang, 32, is set to miss his fifth straight game when Arsenal travel to Norwich City on Boxing Day.
But he chose Christmas Day to take to social media for the first time since being dropped - and there was an apparent jibe over the trip to see his mother recently that led to his late return and troubles.
Posing in matches pyjamas alongside his partner and kids in front of a stunning tree, he captioned it with: “Merry Christmas #Familyfirst.”
Reports emerged before the festive period that the North Londoners are willing to 'listen to offers' next month.
Barcelona are long-term admirers of Aubameyang and are in the market for a striker to replace Sergio Aguero.
But the Gabonese star's £250,000-a-week basic wages are said to put off the cash-strapped Catalan giants.

Juventus are interested in taking Aubameyang on loan for the rest of the season, if an agreement can be reached regarding his salary.
While fellow Serie A sides Inter Milan and AC Milan are also thought to be keen.
Aubameyang was contracted to AC between 2007 and 2011 but never made a first-team appearance.
