Cristiano Ronaldo on Real Madrid comeback trail as superstar forward puts in the hard work at the gym
Portuguese ace still working his way back from injury after limping off in Euro 2016 final win over France
CRISTIANO RONALDO has been out injured ever since limping off in Portugal’s Euro 2016 final win over France.
But things are looking up for the Real Madrid forward as he edges closer to a comeback.
Ronaldo missed his side’s first two La Liga games of the season, with Zinedine Zidane’s men picking up six points to keep pace with Barcelona.
But the former Manchester United ace could be back in action after the international break, with Real posting an encouraging video of their key man working on his fitness in the gym.
Ronaldo can be seen doing plenty of ab work including full-body crunches, ankle taps and twisted sit-ups.
And the man himself uploaded a photo to Instagram showing him straddling an exercise bike while wearing a pair of jeans but no top.
