PAT'S THE WAY

Arsenal fans buzzing over ‘new weapon’ Charlie Patino as 18-year-old debutant scores with his first shot for Gunners

ARSENAL fans have branded Charlie Patino the future of football after his incredible goalscoring debut against Sunderland.

Arsenal were already in cruise control at the Emirates following a strike from Nicolas Pepe and a stunning hat-trick from Eddie Nketiah.

But Patino was determined to leave his mark on the game as Arsenal fans sang his name before he even made it to the field.

League One minnows Sunderland were yet to give up the ghost in North London.

And Patino made a clever run to get himself on the end of a Pepe cross before netting a tidy finish from eight yards out.

The teen even kept a cool head as he celebrated with jubilant team-mates.

And supporters on Twitter found it hard to suppress their joy at seeing one of their own have a debut to remember.
