Arsenal’s Jack Wilshere completes switch to Bournemouth on year-long loan deal
JACK WILSHERE has completed his switch to Bournemouth on a year-long loan.
The Gunners midfielder held talks with the club indicating he wanted to move to play more first-team football.
And after a host of clubs had come in for Wilshere, the England international chose to move to the Cherries.
Manager Eddie Howe made a big impression on Wilshere when they met yesterday.
And he has decided to join Bournemouth and link up with his old Arsenal academy team-mate.
The England ace had told pals this morning he was “70 per cent sure” he would be joining the Cherries – rather than Crystal Palace.
Cherries chief executive Neill Blake said: "Jack is a fantastic addition to the club.
"He is a player that needs no introduction and one that, quite rightly, our supporters will be excited to see in a Bournemouth shirt.
"He will bring a wealth of international and Premier League experience, so we are delighted to be able to welcome a player of his calibre to the club."
