Arsenal transfer news: Gunners fail to land Miguel Almiron this window but player’s agent says deal is close

ARSENAL failed in their approach for Miguel Almiron in this transfer window – but his agent says the move is still likely "in the future".

The Paraguayan international midfielder, who plays for Lanus in Argentina, was expected to replace Bournemouth loanee Jack Wilshere.

But despite Almiron's agent confirming the Gunners' interest, the club failed to reach a deal for the 22-year-old.

And Daniel Campos told , that he thinks his client will join Arsenal at some point.
