DATES FOR THE DIARY
The first legs will take place across four nights in February – 15th, 16th, 22nd and 23rd.
Second legs are set for the following month on March 8th, 9th, 15th and 16th.
After that, we’ll have the draw for the last-eight and semis. Let’s hope the Prem teams are still going strong
SEEDED TEAMS
Ajax, Bayern Munich, Juventus, Liverpool, Lille, Man City, Man Utd, Real Madrid.
UNSEEDED TEAMS
Atletico Madrid, Benfica, Chelsea, Inter Milan, PSG, Salzburg, Sporting Lisbon, Villarreal.
WHAT THAT MEANS
Chelsea can draw any seeded team except the Premier League sides and Juventus, whom they faced in the group stage.
The seeded teams can't face the Blues or the team they met in the group stage
POT LUCK
The teams are divided into two groups, one for the winners and one for the runners-up from the group stage.
It’s a fairly straight-forward draw from that sense but there is country protection, so no all-Premier League ties.
The same won't apply in the quarter-final phase, which means if all four Premier League teams make it out of the Last 16 we may see an all English tie
