Watch ex-Celtic boss Ronny Deila strip to his underwear and do push-ups after New York City’s MLS Cup win
RONNY DEILA stripped to his underwear and did push-ups as he celebrated leading New York City FC to the MLS Cup.
The ex-Celtic boss, 46, was left in tears after a dramatic penalty shootout victory over Portland Timbers.
Deila spent two seasons at Celtic from 2014, winning three trophies during his stint in Scotland.
And in the second year of his three-year contract in the Big Apple, the Norwegian has bagged his first title success since his time in Glasgow.
The former Celtic boss had previously promised fans that he would celebrate shirtless should he win the MLS Cup.
Speaking ahead of last night's historic triumph, he said: "I think I have to do that.
"It's tough. I'm not 35 anymore. I'm 46 now, so it's going to be harder, and I don't think my kids are going to be very proud of me.
"But it's worth it, it's very worth it."
The 46-year-old kept to his word as he removed his clothes until he was standing in his underwear in front of the fans before throwing in a 'Ronny Roar'.

The ex-Celtic boss then got down on the turf and did TEN press-ups before lifting the trophy and roaring once again to the travelling support.
He said: "You have to celebrate victories and today was a big victory.
"I said maybe too much when I got hired here, but I don't regret that. It was a big moment and I will do it again if we keep winning trophies."
Deila - who has former Celtic midfielder Efrain Juarez on his staff - was congratulated by his former club.
Quote tweeting a video of the winning penalty, Celtic posted: "Huge congratulations from everyone at Celtic FC to our former manager Ronny Deila as he wins the #MLSCup with @nyle-smithCFC
"Well done to Ronny & also to assistant manager & former Celt Efrain Juarez and the @NYCFC team."
Valentin Castellanos' first half header squirmed beyond Steve Clark in the Timbers goal to hand City the advantage in the showpiece.
And they look set to win the match in normal time but were left with late heartbreak as Felipe Mora hit a 94th minute leveller.
No further goals arrived in extra-time and the clash headed to a penalty shootout.
