Tottenham transfer news: Spurs to keep Heung-Min Son after rejecting Wolfsburg’s £24m offer for South Korean forward
Striker will remain at the Lane despite failing to nail down a regular first team place
TOTTENHAM are set to keep Heung-Min Son - after rejecting Wolfsburg's £24million offer for him.
Several other German clubs have also asked about the South Korean star, who has failed to nail down a regular first team place since joining Spurs from Bayer Leverkusen for £22m a year ago.
Son, 24, is currently away on international duty preparing for his country's friendlies against China and Syria.
He admitted: "It is not a good sign these transfer rumours are coming out - although it is meaningful those in Germany acknowledge me."
Spurs are believed to have snubbed Wolfsburg's generous offer on the say-so of manager Mauricio Pochettino.
He hopes his faith in the midfielder will make him see he still has a future at the club and spark an upturn in his performances.
Meanwhile, Tottenham hope to finally complete their £10.9m swoop for Marseille winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou - with Clinton Njie moving in the opposite direction on a season-long loan with a view to a permanent move.
