Real Madrid transfer news: Dortmund striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang pushes for dream Real Madrid move
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has reiterated his intention to sign for idols Real Madrid before the end of the transfer window.
The prolific Borussia Dortmund striker, 27, has made no secret of the fact he wants to sign for the Spanish giants, even promising his grandfather that he'd one day sign for them.
And talk of the Gabon international's move away from Dortmund to a number of interested clubs has been widespread all summer - but Aubameyang himself has reportedly told his employers it's Madrid he has his heart set on.
According to Marca, he has told Dortmund's board that if an acceptable offer comes in, to let him leave before the end of the window.
But Madrid have already splurged on Spain striker Alvaro Morata for £25m ahead of the new season and could be reluctant to sign another forward.

And while negotiations are not advanced, Aubameyang's cause is helped by the good relationship between Real's hierarchy and Dortmund's president, Reinhard Rauball.
Should his dream move not happen, he will carry on battling with Bayern Munich's Robert Lewandowski's top scorer crown, and carry on his Madrid quest in the January window.
It seems like Dortmund will hold onto Aubameyang if anyone else comes in for him who is not Real, after he rejected a rival La Liga team last week - while the club themselves turned down a request from Italian side Inter Milan and Manchester City for the striker's services.
