Mario Balotelli hosts emotional goodbye dinner as move to Nice edges closer… and he gets a parking ticket
Italian striker's last supper in Manchester finished with plenty of cuddles
LIVERPOOL flop Mario Balotelli appears to have finally waved goodbye to Merseyside with a slap-up dinner - and a slap on the wrists - ahead of a proposed move away from the club.
The Italian striker hired a private room at plush Manchester restaurant San Carlo on Sunday night, with a handful of buddies taking photos afterwards and saying long and lingering goodbyes, but it ended on a bum note with a yellow card for a parking fine.
Jurgen Klopp has no interest in the former Manchester City man and is desperate to get him out of the club.
Italian minnows Pescara, Sassuolo and Chievo have all made inquiries about the ex-Inter Milan man but baulked at his wage demands.
Swiss side Sion had a look but also backed off while French club Nice opened negotiations but failed to land their man.
English clubs from Crystal Palace to Wolves have been credited with an interest in the free-spirited frontman but nothing has happened yet.
