SERGIO AGUERO has dealt Manchester City an injury scare after pulling out of the Argentina squad.
The striker could be ruled out of City's next three games in any case after footage showed him appear to deliberately elbow West Ham's Winston Reid in yesterday's 3-1 victory at the Etihad.
But Aguero, who has 33 goals in 77 caps, is definitely out of his country's upcoming double-header of World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay and Venezuela due to calf injury.
The 28-year-old was replaced by Fernando for the final two minutes at of the Hammers victory - as Pep Guardiola maintained his 100 per cent record in charge thanks to a Raheem Sterling double and a Fernandinho strike.

And Aguero was at the centre of controversy after he appeared to elbow Reid in an act of frustration as the pair jostled for a header.
Referee Andre Marriner took no action at the time but Aguero faces a three-match retrospective ban if found guilty.
And that could see him ruled out of the Manchester derby at Old Trafford before the Prem visit of Bournemouth and a trip to Swansea in the League Cup.
However, if there is any significant damage to his calf he could also miss the Citizen's Champions League opener against Borussia Monchengladbach on September 13, between the United and Cherries clashes.
The FA will await ref Marriner's report before deciding whether to take action against Aguero.
