According to the , the 23-year-old star, who has struggled to settle in Rome, is wanted by Premier League clubs Hull and Sunderland, but could be tempted by Championship side Forest.

Morrison made seven appearances for Lazio last season, including just four in Serie A without hitting the net once.

Morrison wasn't named in either of Lazio manager Simone Inzaghi's squads for their first two Serie A games of the season against Juventus and Atalanta.

The former Manchester United star - who is contracted to the Italian giants until 2019 - has been heavily linked with a move this summer, with Aston Villa regularly touted as a possible destination.

In July, speculation intensified when Morrison started following the official Villa Twitter account.

He is also following the Championship newcomers' number one goalkeeper, Italy stopper Pierluigi Gollini, while he is keeping an eye on Newcastle United's tweets as a follower of their account.

Morrison reminded English clubs what they are missing at the end of July when he struck two incredible penalties during pre-season training with Lazio.

One of his spot kicks was a Panenka special and the other was a carbon copy of Johan Cruyff’s famous pass-penalty - which was pulled-off perfectly by Ajax in 1982 - with his team-mate Onazi Ogenyi.

Morrison was touted as a future England star during his youth career at Manchester United but he left the club in 2012 after off-the-field issues.

He signed for West Ham but was farmed out on loan to Birmingham City, Queens Park Rangers and Cardiff City before putting pen to paper on a four-year deal at Lazio in January 2015.

It is yet to work out for Morrison in Italy as he's started just one of his seven appearances for I Biancocelesti.
