BARCELONA are renowned as the best passing team in the world - and even their keeper is in on the act.
Marc-Andre Ter Stegen has hardly featured since his 2014 switch to the Nou Comp, but proved in his second start of the season that he has the feet to fit in with his talented team-mates.
He completed a ridiculous 51 passes in the narrow victory over Athletico Bilbao - the most of any keeper in La Liga since boffins started counting in 2005/06.
Barca play with a deep lying sweeper and although this role was originally given to Sergio Busquets, Ter Stegen's passing is good enough for the German to take over himself.
Just TWO of his total of 62 passes made their way past the half way line - with the majority whipped out to the full-backs to start attacks.
Ter Stegen is now No1 at Barca after Claudio Bravo's switch to Manchester City and the German is determined to secure the shirt for his own.
But fans were quick to joke after his passing masterclass that they had an extra midfielder on the books this term.
