CHRISTIAN ERIKSEN is close to agreeing a new deal at Tottenham.
And the 24-year-old Danish star's new terms will see him more than DOUBLE his wages.
The £30,000-a-week midfielder is closing in on an improved contract worth £65,000-a-week.
He still has nearly two years of his current deal left to run.
Eriksen arrived at White Hart Lane from Ajax for £11.5million in 2013 and has scored 30 goals in all competitions.
He has been in negotiations with Spurs for several weeks and has already knocked back one of their offers.
Eriksen has been a little subdued this season and has been subbed in two of his three appearances.
