Simone Zaza to West Ham: Slaven Bilic’s search for a striker is over as Juventus star flies to London for medical

SLAVEN BILIC’S search for a striker looks to have ended as West Ham finalise a deal for Simone Zaza.
The 25-year-old was in London last night for a medical and is set to join on loan from Juventus for the season.
However, the Hammers have signed an agreement that will see them pay a club record £24million in 12 months’ time for the Italy international.
West Ham’s midweek defeat to Romanians Astra Giurgiu in the Europa League qualifiers highlighted their desperate need for striker.

Boss Bilic said: “With the Zaza situation it looks very likely to happen. As far as I know the deal is agreed.
“It’s very positive and it’s a boost. We’ve been trying for a long time now to get a top-quality striker and he was always mentioned.”
Last season Zaza hit five goals from 19 appearances for the Serie A champions.
