BASTIAN SCHWEINSTEIGER’S Manchester United fate was sealed BEFORE Jose Mourinho arrived at Old Trafford, it has been claimed.

The German midfielder has been thrown on the scrapheap by the new boss and is free to leave on a cut-price fee.

But claims Mourinho had already made his mind up after being made aware of a row from Louis van Gaal time in charge.

SunSport’s Neil Ashton revealed in May that senior figures in the United dressing room questioned the World Cup-winner’s commitment.

Players were furious with the injured midfielder going AWOL during rehab for a knee injury.

The German World Cup suffered ligament damage in the 2-1 defeat against England in March.

And instead of working on his recovery at Carrington, he was regularly pictured with his glamorous WAG, tennis player Ana Ivanovic, in various European destinations.

It is club policy for non-playing squad members to attend matches and Schweiny was flying in and out from Germany on matchdays.

Schweinsteiger has told Manchester United fans he will not play for any other club in Europe – hinting he could move to the MLS or China.
