Manchester City squad are all smiles as they prepare for Steaua Bucharest in Champions League – apart from Joe Hart

MANCHESTER CITY players were all smiles ahead of the Champions League showdown with Steaua Bucharest - apart from Joe Hart.

The England No1, 29, looks set to leave City after being benched by new manager Pep Guardiola and will be replaced by Claudio Bravo.

But Hart's proposed move to Everton has hit the buffers - after the Toffees refuse to stump up his £7million wage demands.

City have begun the season in fine form and sit top of the Premier League following two routine wins over Sunderland and Stoke.

Willy Caballero looks to be enjoying his game-time between the sticks whilst Sergio Aguero has begun the season in blistering form.

The Argentine has six goals in three games and it should've been more after he missed TWO penalties in the first leg in Romania.

City go into the second leg with a 5-0 advantage and it's likely that Guardiola will ring the changes with Saturday's home match with West Ham coming up soon after.

Leroy Sane and Ilkay Gundogan returned to training as they look to integrate back into the first-team fold - whilst skipper Vincent Kompany was also spotted as he recovers from the knock that kept him out of Euro 2016.
