Kline is a stats guru and friend of Khan's son Tony who Jokanovic has slammed before for his powers to stop his deals.

There was a deal in place for Pereira in principle with United boss Jose Mourinho.

But it seems Kline refused to sign it off which has irritated Jokanovic, according to the .

However, sources close to Jokanovic have since said he has NEVER wanted to leave Fulham.

And they are adamant he has not thought about it because he is 100 per cent committed to the South London club.

After the Cottagers 2-2 draw with Cardiff on Saturday, Jokanovic said: “I had an opinion from one of the best managers in the world on one of the players and he believes it is a good signing for us and I believe that too.

"Craig doesn’t believe it is a good signing for us and this guy is not with us.”

Jokanovic has said he needs to sign another striker and a midfielder before the transfer window slams shut next month.

The Cottagers have avoided relegation the past couple of seasons.

Jokanovic added: “It generally depends on this guy [Kline] who is going to sign for us or not. The last decision is in the hands of this man. It is not my business.

“I’m a little bit disappointed because no one knows who this guy [Kline] is. I want to take responsibility for how I work with my team and how they perform but I am not part of the recruitment business.

"It is in the hands of people who believe they’re more prepared.”
