MANCHESTER UNITED are still in the hunt for Jose Fonte as part of a defensive shake-up.
Phil Jones is wanted by Stoke and Jose Mourinho is keen to flog Marcos Rojo as well.
And the Portuguese wants countryman Fonte, 32, and United academy star Axel Tuanzebe, 18, to replace them.
Mourinho has talked up Tuanzebe - who was not among the kids handed debuts by Louis van Gaal - since arriving at Old Trafford.
And the claim he is still hot on the trail of Fonte, who has starred for Southampton in recent seasons and will add composure and experience.
