Argentina striker was target for Arsene Wenger but Nerazzurri captain to put pen-to-paper on deal with £86m buy-out clause
MAURO ICARDI has delivered a snub to Arsenal by agreeing a five-year deal to remain at Inter Milan, according to reports in Italy.
The San Siro captain had been heavily linked with a move to Emirates and Serie A side, Napoli.
However, , report he will put pen-to-paper on a contract until 2021.
The deal will include an £86million buy-out clause.
Arsenal are on the look out for a new centre-forward and Icardi was thought to be high on the list.

The 23-year-old was also reportedly the subject of a bid involving Olivier Giroud moving the other way.
While Napoli directors had met with Icardi to discuss a potential move as a replacement for Gonzalo Higuain, who moved to Juventus.
However, new Inter boss, Frank De Boer, had insisted the Argentine would stay.
And he looks set to remain at the San Siro for the next five years.
