MIKE DEAN has endured the wrath of football fans and pundits alike after a horror show during Stoke's game with Manchester City.
First of all, in the first half, Dean awarded a penalty - converted by Sergio Aguero - after he adjudged Ryan Shawcross to have bundled over Nicolas Otamendi.
The decision was somewhat harsh with many taking to Twitter to vent their frustration.
Yet he baffled the world further still by doing the same thing - in an almost carbon-copy incident - when Raheem Sterling this time 'brought down' Shawcross at the other end.

DOUBLE YER MONEY
LET'S go back to 2010 for this gem, as Dean - alongside assistant Simon Beck - had a complete nightmare during Chelsea's win over Manchester United.
First of all the duo failed to give Didier Drogba offside for Chelsea second goal in the 2-1 win.
Then, with the match winding down, he allowed Federico Macheda's consolation goal to stand despite the Italian clearly handling the ball.
Not only did he once again allow Drogba to net from an offside position, he also missed TWO penalties, firstly when Yuri Zhirkov tripped Park Ji-sung and then - at the other end - when Gary Neville barged into Nicolas Anelka.
In fact, he had such a poor game, he was demoted to the Championship for his next game, as fourth official for a Wigan match.

During the clash, Diego Costa clearly struck Arsenal defender Laurent Koscielny in the fact.
Bizarrely, Dean failed to send off the notoriously angry forward...
