Chelsea transfer news: Romelu Lukaku looks set to snub return to Stamford Bridge and stay at Everton to work with Ronald Koeman
The former Blues frontman has been heavily linked with a move back to the Bridge but looks set to remain with Toffees
ROMELU LUKAKU is set to stay at Everton this summer, according to reports.
The Belgian forward, 23, has been subject of prolonged interest from former club Chelsea, who sold him to the Toffees for £28million in 2014.
SunSport revealed how Chelsea tabled a British record take-it-or-leave-it £65million bid for the forward earlier this summer.
But according to the , Lukaku will be staying with Ronald Koeman's men.
With 43 goals in 104 games for Everton, he is the main man in their frontline and with the recent investment from Farhad Moshiri they want to keep him at Goodison.
But Koeman has admitted that he had made plans for if the big Belgian did leave.
He said: "Of course we have names in mind because if not, that is not good.
“There is a lot of interest in him, we know, he is a good player and finally you can’t win it if really it’s a big team who spend a lot of money for an Everton player or for a Southampton player.
