After the October international break, Man Utd face Leicester, Liverpool, Tottenham and Manchester City in consecutive Premier League games.

Solskjaer's team also have two huge Champions League games against Atalanta, which could determine their future in the competition.

And according to , five of the Old Trafford club's biggest stars are 'unhappy' with the team's direction under Solskjaer.

Ronaldo, 36, was rested for United's 1-1 draw against Everton on Saturday afternoon, although he was introduced in the second half.

The Portuguese stormed down the tunnel at full-time, frustrated with the team dropping another two points at home.

Solskjaer's decision to rest the player before an international break was strange as Portugal are playing minnows Qatar and Luxembourg.

The Norwegian's biggest conundrum is working out how to get the best out of Ronaldo - but he didn't get it right against Everton.

Sancho, 21, has struggled since his £73million move from Borussia Dortmund in July, failing to score or assist is his nine games so far.

Solskjaer has so far deployed the winger down the left... but he enjoyed a lot of his success for the German giants occupying the opposite flank.

Sancho is capable of playing down either wing and his slow start is understandable considering his lack of experienced in the English game.

But Solskjaer needs to start getting results out of the player sooner rather than later - and a switch to the right is worth a go.

PAUL POGBA

Solskjaer should be doing all he can to keep midfield star Pogba, 28, happy as his existing deal expires in June.

But the Frenchman, who leads the Prem's assist table with seven, will not have been pleased to miss out on a starting spot against the Toffees.

Considering his quality, Pogba has to be a starter in this side. They can't afford for his Old Trafford career to fizzle out.

DAVID DE GEA

Like his team-mates, De Gea, 30, looked frustrated at full-time against Everton - and it's easy to see why.

The Spaniard has rediscovered his form this term and looks ready to help Man Utd add to their trophy collection in the coming months.

But if the players in front of him don't improve - and quickly - he may seek a well-deserved transfer away from the club next summer.

Van de Beek, 24, is perhaps Old Trafford's grumpiest resident at the moment in time - but who can blame him?

The Dutchman has made just four Premier League starts during his 13 months at Man Utd - despite being fit for most of that time.

Van de Beek's frustration was visible against Villarreal, hurling chewing gum from the bench after being snubbed by Solskjaer.

The player doesn't seem part of the manager's plans and it may be best for all parties if he moves on in January - as rumoured.
