Chelsea transfer news: Cesc Fabregas’ potential Real Madrid move not ruled out by Zinedine Zidane
Real Madrid boss Zidane admits a move for Fabregas would be difficult but doesn't rule out signing the Spanish midfielder
ZINEDINE ZIDANE has failed to rule out a move for Chelsea's Cesc Fabregas but has admitted it would be "complicated".
The former Arsenal and Barcelona midfielder was on the bench for the Blues' opening Premier League victory over West Ham on Monday night.
Zidane cant help but fuel the speculation the Spaniard would be a welcomed addition at the Bernabeu as they look to challenge Barcelona for the title.
It is however likely that Madrid would have to sell before making an offer for Fabregas with James Rodriguez linked with a move away.
Speaking after Madrid's 5-3 friendly win over Stade de Reims last night, Zidane said: "If you want to put another central midfielder into the mix then it becomes complicated.
"Cesc is a great player but it is not very straightforward.
However there are reports in Spain that Real and Fabregas's representatives have been in contact to talk over the possibility of a move materialising.
The move would be difficult however as Fabregas is a known fan of Barcelona but it wouldn't be the first time he has joined a former employers arch rivals.
His very move to Chelsea angered Arsenal supporters after Fabregas once claimed he wouldn't play for another Premier League club.
