Portugal’s Euro 2016 hero Eder FINALLY finds new home as he completes free transfer to Saudi Arabian side Al-Raed
PORTUGAL'S Euro 2016 final hero Eder has finally found a new club, signing for Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Raed.
The Saudi side confirmed Eder's surprise arrival on social media after he left Lokomotiv Moscow in the summer.
Eder joins Al-Raed on a free transfer after being released from the Russian outfit - where he scored just 11 goals in four years.
The 33-year-old had a spell at then Premier League outfit Swansea City back in the 2015-16 campaign.
But he failed to find the back of the net in 13 appearances, mostly playing back-up to Andre Ayew and Bafetimbi Gomis.
Eder will, of course, face off against his former team-mate Gomis - who plays for Al-Hilal - in the Saudi league.
His most notable career moment to date is scoring the winning goal in the Euro 2016 final against France, becoming a national hero.
Eder climbed off the bench to replace Renato Sanches late in the 90 minutes at the Stade de France.

And with main man Cristiano Ronaldo off the pitch due to an injury he sustained in the early stages of the game, Eder stepped up and scored a 109th-minute peach.
But now, five years on, Eder has all but been forgotten - only popping into fans' heads after carrying the Euro 2020 trophy around Wembley ahead of kick-off on Sunday.
Many viewers noticed the forward looked stony-faced bordering on miserable.
But for Eder, the trudge around the pitch in front of 65,000 fans may have reminded him just how far he's fallen.
