CRISTIANO RONALDO'S return to Manchester United brought back the glamour to Old Trafford with a troop of Wags in the house for Saturday's 4-1 win over Newcastle.

The fans were not the only ones eager to see the Portuguese superstar in action following his shock move from Juventus.

Heading into the stands before the game were Edurne Garcia, the wife of David De Gea, and the partners of Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Fred.

Maria Zulay, Paul Pogba's wife, smiled as she walked into the stadium alongside the French star's mother, Yeo.

Model and mum-of-two Zulay wore a smart all-black outfit complete with wide-rim hat and flared trousers.

Injured striker Edinson Cavani was also spotted entering the ground, carrying his young daughter in his arms.

Fellow absentees Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay made sure they had a view of their new team-mate's second debut.

In fact, it was not only the players and Wags showing up for a Ronaldo masterclass.

United co-owner Avram Glazer ended his two-year exile by showing up at Old Trafford.

Earlier this year, supporters got a game abandoned by rushing the pitch in protest at the Red Devils' chiefs, for their commitment to the European Super League and a lack of investment in the club.

But the American sat with outgoing transfer chief Ed Woodward for Saturday's game.

Back on the Old Trafford stage, Ronaldo did not disappoint with a pair of goals.

A first-half tap-in gave United the lead before Newcastle bounced back to level.

The 36-year-old would not be denied however and made it 2-1 with another poacher's finish.

A Bruno Fernandes stunner and Jesse Lingard sealer made it a very happy comeback for Ronaldo.
