Juventus sign Moise Kean on loan transfer from Everton to replace Cristiano Ronaldo after Man Utd move
MOISE KEAN has sealed his return to Juventus from Everton as replacement for Cristiano Ronaldo.
The striker, 21, heads back to Turin only two years after joining the Toffees for £25m.
Juve have an obligation to buy the Italian international for £24m in the summer of 2023.
And that deal includes bonuses of up to £2.5m.
Kean initially joined Juventus aged 10 and made his debut as a 16-year-old in 2016.
He scored eight goals in 21 games for Juventus before departing to Everton.
Juve confirmed his comeback by saying: “He is back home and we are ready to welcome him back with great pleasure.
“Homecoming. This is the perfect phrase to describe Moise Kean's official return to Juventus from Everton.”
Kean still had three years left on a five-year deal with Everton.
He has played twice this season under new boss Rafael Benitez but was sent off in the EFL Cup win over Huddersfield last Tuesday.
He endured a difficult time in the Premier League at Goodison Park.
Kean scored just twice in 33 appearances during his first season on Merseyside and spent the last campaign on loan at Paris Saint-Germain.
He did enjoy better fortunes in Ligue 1, finding the net 16 times in 36 games.
Moise will fill the void left by Ronaldo’s departure back to Manchester United.
The Red Devils will confirm that stunning transfer today after the Portuguese legend penned a two-year deal at Old Trafford.
