GONZALO HIGUAIN has been labelled “a little pig” after the Juventus striker returned from his holidays overweight.
The Argentine frontman became the Old Lady’s record signing this summer when they splashed out £76million to bring him to Turin from Napoli.
He appeared for Juve against West Ham last Sunday, and was ridiculed as fans took to Twitter to mock chubby frontman.
And now former Real Madrid and Barcelona ace Robert Prosinecki has weighed into the 29-year-old and revealed he was amazed at Higuain’s physique.
Prosinecki said: “I was shocked to see Higuain, he is even more fat than me.
“They paid 94 million [sic] for him and he’s arrived as a ‘little pig’!”

Despite Higuain’s rotund appearance, Croatian Prosinecki has backed Juve boss Massimiliano Allegri to get the goal-getter lean and mean in time for the Serie A opener against Fiorentina on August 20.
He told Jutarnji List: “I can imagine how shocked Allegri was, after he insisted on his signing. But they will make him fit soon.”
