And the triumphant Galacticos celebrated by interrupting Zidane's post-match press conference and drenching him.

The Bernabeu legend can be seen laughing as the likes of Sergio Ramos and Marcelo dance and cheer behind him.

The rowdy Real crowd get so excited they even knocked over the advertising board behind their gaffer.

Goals from Marco Asensio, Ramos and Dani Carvajal broke Sevilla's hearts at the Lerkendal Stadion in Trondheim, Norway.

Zidane praised Ramos, 30, just before his captain poured a bottle of water over his head.

The Frenchman, 44, said: "You have to congratulate Sevilla on their great performance.

"Sometimes to play a great game it takes two sides and today we saw just that. In the end we won, but Sevilla were very good.

"Sergio Ramos is our captain, an important player and he's always there to earn us the trophy. There were no special instructions for him.

"With a player like Sergio he's always been the difference. We've seen it before. He's grown as a player, too. In this final he was there just where he needed to be."
