Mino Raiola steps out in baggy T-shirt and holes in jeans after earning £25m from Paul Pogba’s Manchester United move
MINO RAIOLA stepped out in a baggy grey T-shirt and a pair of holey jeans on Tuesday morning – hours after earning £25 million from Paul Pogba's transfer to Manchester United.
If ever there was a time for a football super-agent to pull on a sharp suit, negotiating the £109million deal of the century was probably it.
But it clearly wasn't for Raiola, who looked less than impressed the morning after his windfall the night before as he stepped out of The Lowry Hotel on Tuesday morning.
The football agent, who used to work as a pizza delivery boy at his parent's restaurant in Haarlem, Holland, has got to know Manchester and Jose Mourinho even better this summer.
As well as pocketing a huge sum from Pogba's move form Juventus to United – who, embarrassingly, let him join the Italian giants for nothing in 2012 – Raiola has also negotiated deals for two of his other clients, Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, to join the Old Trafford club.
He is thought to have earned around £30million from United over the three deals - the same amount they paid for Villarreal defender Eric Bailly.
Raiola is unlikely to be jetting off on his summer holidays just yet either as he also has Romelu Lukaku on his books.
The Belgian hitman has been linked with a massive £75million return to his former employers Chelsea.
What's more, one of his other clients is Liverpool's Mario Balotelli who is looking for a move after being banished to the Liverpool reserves.
Raiola could also be set to benefit from the Pogba deal once again this summer.
