Paul Pogba is tipped by Jose Mourinho to become the best player in the world after his record £109m move to Manchester United
Old Trafford boss tells the France midfielder he's right to snub Real Madrid and Barca - because the Prem is perfect for him
JOSE MOURINHO has told Paul Pogba he can become the world’s best player at Manchester United.
The French midfielder, 23, is due to have a medical today after a world-record £109million deal was thrashed out.
Juventus will receive £89m — while Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola is due to receive around £20m.
And Mourinho reckons returning to Old Trafford is better for Pogba’s career than joining Real Madrid or Barcelona.
He said: “United is the perfect club to bring him to the level he wants to be. The Premier League is the perfect habitat for that.
“If you want to be the best player in the world, if you go to Barcelona or Real Madrid you are in trouble.
“I don’t think Messi and Ronaldo will let you do it.
“Here he has the conditions to develop with a team that wants to bring United to the top again.
“We have everything to give him and we know the reasons he wants to come to us.
“He wants to be part of the Man United project.”
