Rob Green gets the jitters and suffers nightmare return to Loftus Road with Leeds
Former England keeper caught in a flap on debut to gift QPR first goal after just four minutes in decisive 3-0 defeat
NEW Leeds keeper Rob Green suffered a nightmare on his return to Loftus Road.
Leeds lost 3-0 and former England No 1 Green drew derision on Twitter after helping QPR on their way in just the fourth minute by flapping tentatively at a high ball swirling around his six yard box.
The visitors failed to clear a corner, and Green and his defenders made a pig's ear of trying to clear, giving Nedum Onuoha the chance to bundle home from a yard out.
It was also the worst possible start for new Leeds head coach Garry Monk - and things only got worse.
