The ex-Sint-Truiden player is reportedly keen to move to England and his wage demands are said to be relatively low.

Tottenham see him as the perfect candidate to boost their shaky defence ahead of the new Premier League campaign.

Tomiyasu, who's won 23 caps for Japan can play as right back but Spurs want him to remain central for them.

The only issue for Tottenham is that Tomiyasu has been chosen to represent his country at the Olympics.
