PARIS SAINT-GERMAIN have agreed a £21million deal to sign Jese Rodriguez from Real Madrid, according to reports.
The Spanish forward had been linked with Arsenal and Liverpool but looks set to make the move to France instead.
Jese was hoping to stay at Real this summer but the arrival of Alvaro Morata from Juventus threatened to limit his game time even further.
The 23-year-old managed to score 18 goals in 94 appearances over four seasons in Real’s senior squad and will be hoping to establish himself as a first-team regular under new PSG boss Unai Emery.
French newspaper claims the fee was agreed over the weekend, and Jese will become Emery’s fourth signing of the summer after deals were completed for Thomas Meunier, Hatem Ben Arfa and Grzegorz Krychowiak.
Midfield ace Marco Verratti has also given PSG a boost after signing a new deal on Tuesday, but Jese’s imminent transfer means Arsenal and Liverpool will have to look elsewhere in their quest for a forward.
