Ousmane Dembele ‘will undergo thigh surgery and set to be out for FOUR MONTHS’ after France Euro 2020 injury heartache
OUSMANE DEMBELE will reportedly undergo surgery on his torn thigh.
And that could see the winger sidelined for four months.
Dembele, 24, came on for Adrien Rabiot in Budapest in the 57th minute.
But he limped off half an hour later having pulled his thigh.
The Barcelona star left the French camp on Monday night with his tournament over.
In a statement on Monday, the French Football Federation said: "Ousmane Dembele had an X-ray at the Budapest hospital on Sunday night.
"The recovery time is incompatible with him staying in the squad."
But now state he is set to go under the knife to repair the damaged bicep femoris muscle in his right leg.
And the operation could take place in Finland where he was treated on in 2017 and last February.
Barcelona and the player agreed surgery was the best option to fix the issue over the summer.

Talks over a contract extension beyond next summer made a slow start, possibly opening the door for the Red Devils to pounce if they failed to land Jadon Sancho.
