Zlatan Ibrahimovic quit Manchester United team hotel after a few hours because luxury digs didn’t have a swimming pool

New Red Devil obviously wanted to keep his cool when he moved to Manchester City hotspot Radisson Blu instead

AFTER a strange start to his new life in England, things finally appear to have cooled down for latest Manchester United ace Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swedish star is in the country after joining the Red Devils on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain, and met his new team-mates for the first time last week at Carrington.

Ibrahimovic had recently been working on his tan during a holiday in America as United toiled in the heat during a botched pre-season tour of China.

But the 34-year-old was evidently flustered when he touched down at Manchester’s Lowry Hotel last Tuesday alongside his two children and wife Helena Seger.

The family were in the luxury building for just a few hours before they were seen packing up and leaving for new accommodation, despite the Lowry being a United hotspot.

The superstar relocated just five minutes away at the Radisson Blu – a favourite with fierce rivals Manchester City – with the Swede unhappy because the Lowry did not have a swimming pool.

But all appeared to be well with Ibrahimovic when he left his lodgings earlier in the week, with the forward striking a relaxed pose as he topped off some baggy clothing with an ice-cool pair of shades.

Ibrahimovic jumped into a waiting car which whisked him to United’s training ground, and the former AC Milan hero will now be looking to be fit in time for the Community Shield final against Leicester on August 7.

The forward has plenty of support in his new surroundings though, with an entire entourage of family and friends also making the journey to Manchester.

And fans are desperate to see where Ibrahimovic figures in Jose Mourinho’s plans at Old Trafford next season, with the Portuguese tactician likely to deploy a 4-3-3 or similar variation.

Ibrahimovic scored just three minutes into his debut against Galatasaray on Saturday evening and could partner captain Wayne Rooney in attack.
