Jamie Vardy sensationally claims he never spoke to Arsenal, making decision to remain at Leicester a simple one

JAMIE VARDY has finally broken his silence on his decision to choose Leicester over Arsenal - claiming he did not speak to the Gunners.
The former Fleetwood striker, 29, claimed he feels he has a lot of 'unfinished business' at the Foxes.
Vardy - who missed the defeat against Paris Saint-Germain - said: "I've always said the brotherhood at Leicester is unbelievable.
"Personally I feel I have a lot of unfinished business here.
"It wasn't that big a decision, it was quite easy, this is where I wanted to be."

When asked about the long-running saga between himself and Arsenal, Vardy claimed he was completely focused on his international duties and never held talks with Arsene Wenger.
He said: "I was away with England. No [I never spoke with them]."
Moving forward Vardy is hoping the other half of last season's deadly duo, Riyad Mahrez, takes a leaf out of his book and stays at the King Power Stadium - but knows the decision is totally out of his hands.
The England man, 29, added: "I think everyone in the squad would want him [Mahrez] here playing with us.
"But it's nothing to do with us, it's up to Riyad and the club to deal with."

Vardy also had his say on Roy Hodgson's replacement, claiming Sam Allardyce is the right man to take England forward.
He told SkySports: "It’s a good appointment, you’ve got to see what his plans are but first and foremost you have to be playing well for your club to even be within a shout of getting in the squad."
The Foxes forward also revealed all about England's disastrous Euro 2016 campaign in France this summer, claiming the squad went to win it all, but blamed inexperience for ultimately falling short.
Vardy added: "We went out there to win it and it’s unfortunate we went out but you learn a lot from it and take a lot of experience.
"We’re quite a young squad so we’ll keep on improving and obviously the new manager’s come in now and we’ll have to see what his plans are.
Vardy could make his return when Leicester face Barcelona in Stockholm on Wednesday ahead of the Community Shield clash with Manchester United next weekend.
