The England teenager lit up the second half of the last Premier League season and burst into the Euro 2016 squad where he was one of few impressive Three Lions players at the France debacle.

And now he has impressed the 34-year-old self-professed legend with a brilliant piece of skill in the pre-season friendly against Galatasaray.

The youngster won a 59th minute penalty for his side in Gothenburg which captain Wayne Rooney fired home.

Rashford collected a chip over the top from Rooney, glided past his marker and was hauled down by goalkeeper Fernando Muslera.

But Ibrahimovic had leaped out of his seat to applaud the burst of speed and guile of the 18-year-old and raised his eyebrows in surprise at the flash of brilliance.

Rashford made 11 Premier League appearances last season, when Luis van Gaal faced an injury crisis, and scored a brilliant five goals.

The former Barcelona and AC Milan star is also ready to welcome £112million Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba to the club.

After the comfortable win, the Swede said: "If Pogba comes as well it'll be more interesting, we'll see there's something great being built here."
